A student-run organization dedicated to bringing equal opportunity and fostering community for BIPOC students. They were seeking a rebrand from their old logo (Figure 1.)

02. CHALLENGE

The board wanted something that felt cool, approachable, and inclusive - and not performative, corporate, or stereotypical.

03. APPROACH

I did a few illustrations (Figure 2.), we landed on a group of people running in a circle. The star symbolizing creativity/collaboration. Rather than do the obvious and choose a skin-tone themed palette, the colors are inspired by skin undertones (i.e. olive, red, blue).
